Description:

♦  According to the science of Ayurveda, every part of the peepal tree – the leaf, bark, shoot, seeds and its fruit has several medicinal benefits, and it is being used since ancient times to cure many diseases.

♦  Arasam Maram is a large semi-evergreen or dry season deciduous that grows up to 30 m tall, and the trunk has up to 3 m diameters.

♦  The scientific name of this tree is Ficus religiosa and leaves of the tree has a cordate shape that contains distinctive extended drip tip.
